Guiding Good Choices is a recognized, evidence-based program developed by the University of Washington. This 5-session course is designed to support parents and caregivers of teens ages 9-14, promoting healthy development and reducing adolescent risk behaviors.
This program focuses on the power of strong family bonds to motivate preteens to follow family guidelines, leading to better health and educational outcomes as they grow. By participating, you'll gain:
- Effective Parenting Skills: Learn proven techniques to guide your teen.
- Strengthening Family Bonds: Discover ways to build a closer, more supportive family unit.
- Conflict Management: Acquire tools to manage and resolve family conflicts.

- Exclusive for parents or adult caregivers of children ages 9-14 in Washington State.
